Ce blog a été créé pour tous les utilisateurs des NUVI de Garmin. Les documents disponibles sont mis gratuitement à la disposition des bloggeurs. Certains ne sont compatibles qu’avec certains NUVI (notamment la lecture des fichiers « .MP3″ utilisée pour les radars et les TourGuides).

Le niveau de difficulté
Tous les articles sont notés de façon à orienter les bloggeurs en fonction du niveau de difficulté
NIVEAU SIMPLE : cette information est d’un accès simple et/ou ne nécessite que l’utilisation du NUVI et/ou la simple lecture de l’article ;
NIVEAU MOYEN : cette information nécessite la bonne maîtrise du GPS et requiert des notions sur l’utilisation des logiciels gravitant autour du NUVI ;
NIVEAU DIFFICILE : cette information est complexe, elle nécessite une bonne maîtrise du GPS et/ou des outils informatique tels que MapSource, POILoader, les éditeurs XML, etc…
Naviguer dans ce blog
La première règle à retenir est la plus simple : cliquez sur le titre « Blog de Soupon » pour revenir à la page d’accueil.
Vous disposez ensuite d’une série de zones vous permettant de vous déplacer :
: il s’agit des derniers commentaires des bloggeurs, vous pouvez les consulter et y répondre si vous le souhaiter
: cette zone mentionne les articles récents (du plus récent au plus ancien) concernant la catégorie dans laquelle vous vous trouvez (exemple : pour la catégorie MP3, seuls les articles les plus récents concernant ce thème seront mentionnés)
: tapez un mot et vous aurez la liste de tous les articles contenant ce mot. Très utile au demeurant …
: les catégories permettent de ranger les l’article par grands thèmes. Certains articles peuvent être rangés dans plusieurs catégories. Les catégories sont également présentes en haut de l’écran, sous la barre de titre
: les pages permettent de vous renvoyer à des informations qui ne sont pas particulièrement rattachées à des articles ou à des grands thèmes tels que MapSource (le logiciel de base servant de lien entre l’ordinateur et le NUVI pour travailler sur la cartographie), POI Edit (pour gérer les POI ou waypoints), POI Loader (pour envoyé des POI ou des waypoints vers le NUVI),…
Rechercher des articles
La recherche d’articles peut se faire de plusieurs manières :
- vous connaissez la date : cliquez sur la zone de calendrier
- vous connaissez le thème : cliquez en haut sur la liste des catégories (accueil, affichage, GPX,…) puis sélectionnez un article dans la liste des articles récents
- vous ne savez pas : utilisez la zone recherche et tapez le mot approprié (exemple : « contact » vous donnera la liste de tous les articles contenant le mont « contact »).
Apporter vos contributions
Si vous souhaitez apporter vos contributions, vous pouvez le faire au travers des commentaires proposés pour chacun des articles écrits.
Pour cela, rien de plus simple :
- en haut de chaque article, figurent des liens hypertextes concernant le jour de rédaction, les catégories, l’auteur et … en fin de ligne une référence au nombre de commentaires. Si vous cliquez dessus, une zone de saisie vous proposera de dialoguer ;
- si cette option n’apparaît pas en haut, c’est que vous disposez directement en bas de la zone de commentaires.
